How we protect your LinkedIn session
Last updated: 31 October 2026Handing over your LinkedIn is a matter of trust. Here is exactly how the connection works and the rules we follow.
No password, ever
You connect by adding a small browser extension and clicking Connect. It uses the LinkedIn session already open in your own browser. You never type your password into Connect, and we never see or store it.
An encrypted session, hosted in the EU
The session is stored encrypted, with the keys kept in a managed secret store. The infrastructure that holds the connection is hosted in the European Union (Belgium).
A consistent location
Each account connects through its own residential proxy, located in the country chosen when you connect (normally yours), so your activity keeps coming from a consistent place instead of a data centre.
You can cut access in one click
Remove the extension and access stops. When you cancel, we delete the stored connection.
Your inbox stays confidential
We read conversations to understand context and find opportunities. They are used only to run your account, never shared with other clients and never used to send anything outside the rules you set. At kickoff you can mark contacts, clients or topics as off-limits, and Connect never opens or acts on those conversations. We keep only the notes needed to do the job (who is who, what was promised, what is pending) and delete them when you leave.
Human pace, by design
- Up to 30 personal messages and at most 5 connection invitations a day, far below what LinkedIn tolerates.
- Weekdays only, within working hours in your time zone.
- A gradual start: week 1 read-only, week 2 you approve the first batch, then 10, 20 and 30 a day.
- If LinkedIn signals too much activity, we pause for the day.
An honest note
Connect does not use an official LinkedIn API. Any automation on LinkedIn carries some account risk, and new or barely used accounts are the most exposed. Nobody can honestly promise zero risk, and we don't.
